The Challenge
Karnal bunt is an exotic fungal disease that threatens to close over 45 international trade markets if detected in Australia. Distinguishing its airborne spores from endemic species is incredibly difficult using conventional methods.
Our Solution
As a core element of the 5-year National Grains Diagnostic and Surveillance Initiative, Data Effects' automated DXS-1850 systems will be deployed to establish advanced airborne spore-trapping capability at strategic regional grain receival centres and shipping ports.
